Phone plugin for Servoy
Take full control over your phone

The Phone plugin allows you to tie your Servoy solution to your PBX and give you full control over your phone:

  • make calls from within Servoy
  • answer calls
  • instantly look up the caller's record in the database when a call comes in
  • hang up a call in progress
  • log all incoming, outgoing and missed calls
  • run a method whenever a call is transferred to your phone, accepted, missed or hung up

The phone plugin uses either ilink TeamCall TAP or TeamCall Express as a middleware to connect to your PBX. TeamCall TAP supports a range of popular PBX brands such as Aastra DeTeWe, Alcatel, Avaya, Cisco, Deutsche Telekom, Ericsson, Nortel, Panasonic, Siemens, ShoreTel (see here for a list of TeamCall TAP supported PBX).

TeamCall server is available for Linux, Mac OS X, SCO Unixware, Solaris and Windows. If your PBX is not in the list of supported systems, you can use TeamCall Express and connect to your PBX using a TAPI connection. Since it uses TAPI, TeamCall Express is only available for Windows. The plugin will work with either TeamCall Server or TeamCall Express.

You can obtain a demo version of TeamCall server from the ilink website. To implement the plugin in a production environment you will need a plugin license and a license for TeamCall.

A demo version of the Phone plugin can be obtained here.
